Social Media and Christian Content Delivery

So this all was starting to take shape as we were meeting with Larry Neville, the president of Praise Chapel about how important it was to pay attention to the Title and Description of a website specifically that shows up on the google search results page. That took us on a journey to make the fine tuning and adjustments that communicate effectively what our own websites are about.

Take a look at what a search for Crunch Media Shows. The single line in blue is the Title of the website and the double line in black is the description of the site. This is your first chance to make an impression and to say what your site is about. This is what we were trying to explain to Laryy and realized we needed to adjust ours first before we can use it to prove the concept.

Moving forward yesterday we were talking to Jared Duba, a Christian brother, rap artist, and web designer. We were talking about the seven multi-media disciplines being: [INFOGRAPHIC]

Another thing we discussed was the need for creating infographics to enhance blogging, hence the creation of the one above.

Some of the other points we covered in our discussion was the need to create a good mobile version of a website, an example being WPTouch, we also discussed Shopify as a means of creating an online store. Lastly we touched on QR Codes, I mentioned JumpScan as one way to see the power of QR Codes in use is to look at my wife Zurlene’s JumpScan but even as i was preparing to write this blog post I noticed the QR Code on our Gravatar.

Well that’s a little bit for Jared to chew on for now, he said it was alot of information so I wanted to make sure he had this post for reference!

Cheers-

Derek and Zurlene Moore
